In search of truth and freedom
Went into the fight
Defenders of the kingdom
Through the darkest night
All loyal knights who after
Enemies were sent
Prepared to fight for their king
Until the end

Through the dark lands led their way
Brave and faithful soldiers
All unknown - come what may
They kept marching on…

This is their story -

What a quest of glory
Fighting to the end!

The enemy was waiting
Hiding in the dark
But soldiers of the freedom
Had them on the mark
The horn of tallest tower
Rang clear in the night -
And so began the hour
Of the greatest fight

More unknown - come what may
They kept fighting on…

The fight was long and dreadful -
Soldiers wouldn't yield
Till sun gave light to bloodshed
On the battlefield
The enemy was scattered,
Gone into the past
As soldiers of the freedom
Won the fight at last

Fighting on without rest
Brave and faithful soldiers
They completed their quest
But did not come back…
