Why did I bring myself so far away?
Why so many mountains, so many trails
So many laps and so many corners?
Why did I had to visit
So many strange places?

At every hill I go through
just before reaching the top
I ask myself the question:
What is all this for?
All the fear, all the effort?
Why? Why? ohh Why? Why?

From the place I am in
In the middle of that long walking
I can see lots of tunels
Mountains, roads both
behind and ahead

I ask then and again
once more at each stop
allways the same question
What is all this for?
