I'm being haunted by dreams i can't remember,
creations from the back of my mind.
No escape from relentless demons,
who visit when i close my eyes.

Denial has lead me nowhere, I've fallen from the path of the sane.
Buried by waves of madness, I struggle to remember my name.

My thoughts are ripped away.
Devoured by the chaos.
My mind begins to fray,
A Mental Disarray.

I'm being slaughtered by my imagination,
by nightmares of my own design.
Visions made for the eyes of madmen,
have torn their way into my mind.

Terror destroys the senses, the total domination of mind.
Possession - the works of fiction? A presence that will not be denied.

In the distance howls a dismal voice,
drenched with overtones of sorrow.
In time it sinks beneath the waves,
where I will not dwell on it tomorrow.
Am I still alive? Have I lost my mind? - In truth does it even matter?
Where shadows dance and darkness dwells,
I stand as one with purest madness.
