The path goes before me, but I cannot see the way
The darkness is blinding
The fog come surround me

The light placed deep within me
Threatens to rip itself from my chest
Not lighting the path

Closed eyes nightmares
Screams from the blackness
Cracking whips from all sides
Striking! Tearing my flesh like adders

Terror in isolation
Through this path of thorns
Then suddenly
Opens the fog before me
With swirling flames of fire

I cannot believe
He’s been this way before me
The origin of my light
And into the darkness I go

The light deep inside

Tearing from my chest
