Chelsea was just like
Any modern girl
Known by you or me
A daughter, sister, friend and more
Out for some Halloween revelry

She'd heard of Metal Mike's
Mythic party
In the rural woods of Michigan

Chelsea goes as Poison Ivy
To masquerade with all her friends

The party proved to be a rowdy bash
As dusk is swallowed by the night
Thundering metal bands set the pace
Everything glows an eerie light

And Chelsea danced
And Chelsea laughed
Drank cheap wine
From a large carafe
And as that night broke into dawn
She was never seen again

Chelsea didn't come home last night
I think it's time
To make that dreaded call
A trembling hand dials the phone
On a cold and somber day that Fall

Police and fed's now work the case
And found someone
Who could recall the face
In that car she entered, driven by a man
And so the search for Chels' began

Frantic, fevered was the pace
A sprint against time
In this morbid race
But the thorough search
Turned not a trace
What could be of Chelsea's fate?

A year passed by as the seasons change
Fall, Winter and back to Spring again
Until that day, down by the tracks
A fisherman found a skeleton

And so we learned of her horrific fate
When they examined
Her final resting place
Her light snubbed out
By a cowardly scum
Now rots in prison
For the sins he's done

Chelsea didn't come home last night
Pray you never have to make that call
So advise your friends of where you go
And beware
The creeping strangers prowl
